Starlights Cheer is proud to offer three unique teams designed to inspire, develop, and showcase the talent of our athletes. Each team provides a tailored experience, fostering teamwork, skill-building, and a love for cheerleading.

Twyla - Level 1 Limited

Twyla is Starlights Cheer’s competitive Level 1 Limited team for athletes ages 5–11. Designed as an introduction to competitive cheer, Twyla focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the sport in a positive, age-appropriate environment. Athletes train and perform a YCADA-compliant routine while participating in competitions, exhibitions, and select community events throughout the season.

Nova - Level 1

Nova is Starlights Cheer’s competitive team for athletes ages 12-18. This team competes in 3-8 competitions per season, showcasing advanced skills, stunts, and routines. Nova athletes demonstrate a strong commitment to the sport, dedicating themselves to rigorous practices and teamwork. As a competition team, Nova represents Starlights Cheer at high-level events and is expected to maintain excellence both on and off the mat. This team is perfect for those looking to challenge themselves, build their cheer skills, and perform at their best.

Lyra - Exhibition

Lyra is Starlights Cheer’s adult exhibition team for athletes who want to perform, train, and grow in a supportive and empowering environment without the pressures of competition. This team focuses on confidence, performance, and community while celebrating strength and individuality at every stage.
